Brewed coffee for iced coffee drinks

by Rikki Tucker
(Kearney Ne )

I want to make iced coffee drinks and was wondering how long I could keep brewed coffee in the fridge before it goes bad?

ANSWER:

I can’t say for sure, but if it were me, I think I’d make a fresh brew at least once every five days or so.

I think the coffee is probably safe to drink for longer than that, but the taste will begin to suffer after a while.

Even if you keep it for only a day or so, be sure to keep it in a sealed container or it will likely pick up some other, unwanted flavors from other items in the fridge.
