Bunn My Cafe MCP single-serve coffee maker.

Gourmet coffee beans

The Bunn My Café is probably the best of all the single-serve coffee makers available right now.

It may not look as “cool” as some of the other brewers, but it makes up for that with its solid construction and functionality.

The first point to make about this brewer is that it accepts coffee pods of any size.

Instead of the usual, round pod holder found in most other models, this one has a coffee pod “tray” that accepts any size.

As a result, you can choose from a huge selection of pods, - from Senseo, Melitta, Folgers, Juan Valdez, Gala and even Starbucks.

Also, the water tank is a big one, so you don’t have to refill it after every couple of cups of coffee.

As an added bonus, the Bunn My Café also brews tea, using a Pulse-Brew technology. The machine comes with two pod holders, one you can use for coffee and the other you can use for tea.

Another great feature is the sliding control at the base of the machine that you use to control the brew size: anywhere from 4 ounces to 12 ounces, depending on whether you are brewing for a cup, a mug or a travel mug.

If the Bunn My Café coffee maker has a downside, it’s the price. This is a commercial quality machine, and that is reflected in what you pay.

In short, you’ll pay almost double the price of a Senseo or Melitta single-serve brewer.

So in the end, it comes down to your budget. If you have the extra money, it’s probably worth it.

You’ll have a hassle-free single-serve brewer that accepts every different size of coffee pod out there.
