Do K-Cups have an expirations date

QUESTION:

I recently bought a Keurig coffee maker which uses K-cups. There are several online sites which sell discounted K-cups in larger quantities. What is the shelf life of a K-cup? Will they still be fresh a month from now? Two months?? Please advise.


ANSWER:

Good question. Someone else was wondering about this a while ago, so I contacted Green Mountain Coffee, who own Keurig, and asked them.

Here is their answer:

“K-cups have a 9-month shelf life. However, if each unit is sealed, the k-cups will last longer although the coffee may not taste as fresh.”

Nine months is pretty good. Another way to save on your K-Cups is to sign up for Green Mountain Coffee’s Cafe Express home delivery service. You get regular deliveries and save $2 on the price of every box of K-Cups.
