Organic Jalima Coffee has a strong, clean, rounded taste which lingers beautifully in the mouth.

If you have never heard of Jalima Coffee, it’s understandable.

Jalima is a very small company right now, founded by three friends who want to share their passion for coffee, and support sustainable coffee growing practices in Mexico.

This certified organic blend comes from beans grown under shade in the Soconusco region of the Sierra Madres Mountains in Chiapas, Mexico.

This area is close to the El Triunfo Conservation area, and a portion of the proceeds of each sale is donated to the area’s Conservation Fund.

This is a terrific coffee, and supports a worthy cause...

As always, we tried this coffee with and without cream. Either way, it immediately struck us as being one of those rare coffees that has great strength in its taste, but without being harsh or smoky.

Organic Jalima Coffee is medium roasted, not dark. But is still seems to carry that certainty of taste we enjoy. (We really don’t like coffee with a washed-out, unclear aroma and taste.)

If you’re a fan of the taste of Peet’s and Starbucks coffees, we think you’ll like this one too.

And as a bonus, when you buy Jalima Coffee you are supporting a great cause - and three individuals who deserve to fulfill their dream of a more sustainable and socially responsible way to grow coffee.
