More Money Overkill For Coffee

by Marc F Cochran
(Charleston, SC)

My brother got me interested in single cup coffee craze. So I've been researching it and am amazed. I found machines from $70 to $450 dollars. And prepacked coffee required appears to be ridiculously expensive and limited in scope.

Found this great little honest web site and with good reviews and was reminded of the old cone single cup coffee maker. Further remembered that I used to make a good single cup with a piece of paper towell and a paperclip.

Try this. Put the desired amount of coffee in a piece of paper towell. Twist it closed and clip it. Toss in cup and pour hot water over it. Go brush your teeth. Return and toss the paper towel and clip and enjoy the coffee. No fuss no muss.

The Secret? Everything tastes better with a clean mouth.

Editor's Note: Thank Marc! Great feedback. I hope you saw our article on the "other" one cup coffee maker.

One cup of coffee
by: Jeff

I like many other old fogies love a good cup of coffee but just can't pack a whole pot in at a sitting, I hate re-heated coffee so it means tossing 8 cups of every pot, so here I am looking for a one cup machine, what a racket!! Expencive coffee makers that use expencive coffee with little control of the taste you can get. Dosen't anyone make a one cup coffee maker that also makes espresso but allows you to use the coffee you love and have bought for the last 40 years without using a messey french press or coffee waded up in a paper towel. Does anyone make such a machine?
