Rockstar Roasted Coffee Energy Drink

I found this while grocery shopping this morning. I couldn’t help but smile. Here we have a company marketing coffee as an energy drink, albeit as a cold drink.

Interesting. It strikes me that coffee has been an energy drink for a few hundred years now, sharpening our minds and keeping us alert.

While energy drink marketers have been adding caffeine to their drinks from the outset, it is interesting to see them come full circle and marketing coffee itself as an exciting new beverage.

Yes, I actually tasted it. It’s like a mild coffee with too much cream and sugar that has sat in the fridge for a couple of days. It’s OK, but I won’t be buying it again.
