We love our Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker

by Thomas
(Victoria, BC)

We have always liked grinding our own beans. We buy beans so the coffee is always fresh, but also so we have a big choice of different coffees to choose from. Sometimes we buy coffee beans at local stores, and sometimes online. We buy online when we want to try something a little more exotic, and can’t find the beans close to home.

Anyway, we used to have a separate coffee grinder. Plus our drip brewer.

Then we had dinner with friends one evening and they had a Cuisinart brewer that grinds the beans and makes the coffee in one machine. What a great idea!

We love it. We just have to use the one machine now. And we don’t end up with spilled coffee grinds on the counter. AND the coffee is made immediately after the coffee beans are ground. So it’s always super fresh.

I know there are other brands of coffee maker that do the same thing, but we bought the Cuisinart because our friends were so pleased with it. And it works just fine for us too. We love it!

Works ok for about 6 months
by: Anonymous

The Grinder wastes a lot of coffee. Grinds too long and produces a nice sludge. May be used without the grinder but, like other makers in this price catagory, they begin to fail after 6 months usage of twice a day.
