Greetings,

It has been a while since the last newsletter, so we have a little catching up to do.

And the season is changing too. For many of us there is an autumn chill in the air. And that means a little less iced coffee, and a lot more wrapping our cold fingers around a nice hot mug of coffee.

Also, as the colder weather drives us indoors, it’s a good time to reach beyond our regular cup of Joe, and think about trying some new and more interesting coffees.

Since the last newsletter I have probably added dozens of new pages to the Coffee Detective website. But here are a few I would like to bring to your attention.

First up, I have created a store called “Don’t Mess With My Coffee!” It’s a place where you can buy coffee mugs, t-shirts etc. Each are printed with a coffee quote.

For example, if you are grumpy early in the day – which I undoubtedly am – you can get a coffee mug printed with the quote: “Until after my second cup of coffee, the answer is always NO”.

Second, I have added a new survey.

I would love to know which your favorite coffee drink is. Regular coffee? Cappuccino? Latte? There are 10 choices in total.

I have added the survey form at the end of the page on espresso-based coffee drinks. Go to the page, scroll down to the bottom and click next to your favorite drink.

This will take you maybe 10 seconds total. I would really appreciate your participation.

Finally, I have added a “What’s New” feature on the website. This appears in the right side column on every page on the site. It’s an easy way to keep up with the new information I add to the site.

Whatever page you are on, just take a peek to the right side and you’ll see the latest five pages I have added.

That’s it for now.

I’ll be publishing a little more regularly now that summer is over. Like everyone else, I anticipate spending more time inside and paying more attention to my favorite beverage…coffee!
