Melitta Mill & Brew Coffeemaker

QUESTION:

I've had one for about 8 years and love it. Sadly it broke down a few days ago-and I can't find it on the Melitta website. Any ideas where I can find another one?

ANSWER:

If you are talking about the Melitta MEMB1B Mill & Brew 10-Cup Coffeemaker, sadly it is no longer available.

We had one too. After a couple of years the plastic catch that holds the lid on the grinding chamber broke, and I ended up keeping it closed with a couple of Velcro strips. Well, it worked OK, but was pretty ugly. : )

If you want to get a new brewer that also grinds and brews, we have put together a list of mill and brew coffee makers available through Amazon.

Melitta Mill & Brew

I have a nearly new Melitta Mill & Brew MEMB10T 10 cup maker with insulated stainless carafe. I had barely used it when the on/off switch stopped working. The mill worked, all lights/buttons appear to work except the on/off switch. This may be an easy fix. I stored it at the time and decided to just let someone else deal with the problem. So, I will gladly sell to someone as is who may need all the parts. The latched top is like new. Basket intact. Carafe like new. Contact me at ccthames@att.net with offer.

Looking for a new Carafe

Need Melitta Grinder Basket

Everything on ours work, except the bottom of the basket no longer catches on the driver and it doesn't grind the beans.
Our daughter bought us the coffee maker and I hate to throw it out.

I've had mine about 8 years also and it works fine but carafe and screen are about to go. I just realized that I can't replace it with the same brand.
I did email the prez of Melitta U.S.A just to see if he had one stashed in the back room or anywhere.
Wish me luck, otherwise i guess another mill and brew will have to do

Unfortunately, the plastic lid clasp is the weak link. I hold my down with a coffee cup which actually has a positive outcome! The cup is heated while the coffee is grinding and brewing.

I have purchased two of the coffee pots recently, and expect them any day. I have purchased several extra parts from Melitta. Try emailing them. They may only have white parts, but big deal, this is a kick ass coffee pot. I have two, one where I camp up North, one at my home. Love this coffee pot. The second one came from a thrift store for $7.00 - obviously didn't know what they had, I hope to find more.

mine drop and broke the mill and brew asse.

if anyone out ther has a melitta mill and brew in black that dosen't work i could use the parts filter,an my mill and brew assembly drop and broke ( the part where you put the coffee in)my coffe pot works great just can't use with out that part
