My Keurig----have had problems....

by Antoinette
(Mississippi)

I've had my Keurig for less than 6 months...and it only has worked perfectly for about 3 months...
I'm soooo disappointed! I didn't keep my receipt so I feel that I can't return it to Bed Bath and Beyond...and I've stocked up over $100 dollars worth of coffee!!! I haven't had a full cup of coffee in a single brew in months! Soo frustrated!!!

Editor's Note: Contact Keurig customer service. They are usually pretty good.

gave up on my Keurig...
by: EllenNY

I was very happy with my Keurig for a few months. It stopped working and I think I sent it back with permission from their customer service. It was a long time ago, so I'm not exactly sure what happened. I really loved the way it made coffee and the idea of the K-cups, so I tried it again. The new one died within three or four months. I tried to make it work so many times and finally gave up.

However, I have now graduated to the most primitive Hario pourover method. The ceramic filter cost me about $15 on Amazon and the filter papers cost $5.00 for 100. I can now buy the very best coffees out there and it only takes me about a minute to pour over the water, maybe two if I slow down the process as the "experts" recommend. The coffee is far superior to any of the K-cups. And the truth is, I think it's a lot cheaper even when I buy the most expensive "gourmet" coffees out there. Check it out. You pay a lot for those little cups.

And by the way, their tea cups are a joke, but that's another forum.

Not long lasting
by: Veetso

In 2008 I bought a Keurig for Christmas- nearly $300 at Sam's. Worked fine for about 2 years. Then after a family gathering it squirted everywhere. I did everything recommended at the website still no go.
Bought a new one lots a bells and whistles (woke me up--went for a paper- let out the dogs-cost a lot but Nice) 6-8 months dead.Followed the web site again but nothing.
I swore off. few days later my wife "surprised" me with a mid grade new one @$125. 3 months later it took a ____. Went through the same routine. I'm Done.
Looking for my old Drug store $30 model dripper in my basement (these I can afford a new one every 3 or 4 months).
The Keurigs(all of em) are going to the rifle range with me after New Years.

We are on our second unit in less than Two years and now this one is not working. Also have a commercial Keurig unit in my office, they last about four months. We are shopping for another brand coffee maker.

Keurig problems..
by: Anonymous

I finally gave up trying to use my Keurig. I've had it for a few years so I can't return it. I should have done so in the first year. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Now, it doesn't and no matter what I do, it just won't work. I have no idea why.

listen....

Bed Bath & Beyond can be very accommodating,, and they will probably accept an exchange or a credit without your original receipt....

....as far as your decision to buy a product that requires you to use their proprietary products after your purchase is I believe misguided....

....there are many good choices to make in your ongoing coffee adventure.....
