Still searching for a stainless coffee maker - healthier option

I've been searching everywhere for a stainless option to the percolator. I love the idea of the single cups you've reviewed, but they all have plastic parts. I'd love a plain old drip machine, but they too are stainless on the outside, but where the water and coffee go it's always plastic. I'm sorry if I missed it on your website - but do you know of stainless alternatives?

Editor's note: There are some options here on the BadPlastics.com site.

stainless steel coffee maker
by: jen

I ahve a stainless steel percolator. Actually its my second one. I love it. Both were second hand at garage sales but I did see the same units at Ashley's (Toronto) and in the Sears catalogue. Not cheap, but no plastic or filters. Only problem is, it makes a full pot and sometimes I just want a couple of cups.

A great cup of coffee coming your way
by: Anonymous

Jen,

If you want make just a couple of cups with a percolator just add enough for three cups and a little more water than three mugs will hold. Perculate it will stop percolating when the water reaches its temp. I use one as well as a drip.

I am MetheCoffeman and when my product is manufactured I will be releasing a video that will go along with my product. The video will show you how to make a perfect cup of coffee with any type of machine and the video is free.

My product will turn any Mr Coffee type drip coffee maker into the best coffee maker giving you a great cup of coffee that lasts hours. No more having to spend hundreds of dolors on expensive single cup machines, or buying gadgets that take more time than you are willing to spend, No more burnt or bitter flavor after 20 minutes in the pot. You can make a full pot and leave it for hours and it will still be hot and taste great.
